I’m Kayla! It’s nice to meet ya.

From my earliest days in school, I found myself compelled to doodle in order to maintain focus. On multiple occasions, my teacher would approach me and inquire about my level of attentiveness. Much to their surprise, I was able to recollect every word they had spoken. They realized that I drew images that related to their teachings, and that it helped me absorb the most out of their lesson.

The power of visuals in storytelling is profound. They elicit emotions, ignite imagination, and stir curiosity. Every brushstroke, pixel, composition, and color transports us, evokes memories, and inspires contemplation. In this digital age, visuals cut through the noise, capture attention, and leave lasting impressions. From stunning photographs to captivating illustrations, visuals create an expansive universe that resonates deeply within us.

As a versatile artist, I explore digital illustration and painting to bring my creative visions to life. I graduated from Liberty University in May 2023 with dual degrees in Graphic Design and Studio Arts. Based in Pennsylvania, I find endless inspiration from the surroundings and community of artists. With a love for experimentation and growth, I push the boundaries of my artistic abilities across mediums.

A lil’ bit about me;

• First and foremost, I am a follower of Jesus Christ. Everything I do in life is to glorify Jesus because he gave us everything out of love, and I am living in that freedom!

• I value the ability to express through illustration, and truly believe it is a beautiful gift given by God.

• When I am not doing anything art-related, I love being outdoors, having music jam sessions with friends, adventuring coffee shops, or hangin’ out with my family’s German shepherds- Sadie and Jovie!

• I love people and believe having a healthy community is a top priority in life

• I studied abroad in Italy in 2022 and it was the best experience ever!!!

• Dad jokes are superior :)
